What should a Blackpool business website do?

Blackpool is a seaside town on the Irish Sea coast of the Fylde peninsula, with 141,000 residents at the 2021 census. It runs a visitor economy at scale: in 2021, 18.8 million visitors contributed £1.5 billion to the local economy, and tourism supports about 25,000 full-time equivalent jobs, one in five of the workforce (Wikipedia, Blackpool (read 29 October 2026)).

Not every customer here is on holiday. The town’s travel-to-work area has 2.5 times the Great Britain average concentration of food manufacturing workers, and Blackpool Council’s business pages point firms to the Blackpool Airport Enterprise Zone (Blackpool Council business (read 29 October 2026)). A guest house filling rooms for the lights, a plumber in Bispham and a food supplier quoting a trade buyer each need a different website. We plan the pages around the decision your own customer is making.

From Starr Gate to Fleetwood: what will your customer need?

Seven parts of the Blackpool and Fylde coast area, seven customer decisions
Blackpool town centre and the PromenadeA visitor choosing where to stay, eat or go. Visit Blackpool describes six miles of Illuminations along the Promenade, from Starr Gate to Red Bank Road. A hotel, guest house or café near the seafront should show the dates it is open, what a stay or a table includes and a direct way to book.
North Shore and BisphamA household looking for a local service. The FY2 postcode district covers most of the town’s northern areas, primarily Bispham. A cleaner, tutor or home-repair business there should name the streets and postcodes it covers and say how soon it replies.
South Shore, Marton and Squires GateA business buyer checking capability. FY4 covers Marton, Peel, South Shore, Squires Gate and Starr Gate. A manufacturer or engineering firm selling to other businesses should state what it makes, the standards it works to and who handles quotes, so a buyer can shortlist it.
Lytham St AnnesA customer who expects a considered first impression. Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club regularly hosts the Open Championship, and the restored windmill stands on Lytham Green. A restaurant, boutique or professional practice there should look as careful as its service, with clear prices or a consultation route.
Fleetwood and Knott EndA trade buyer or a ferry-side regular. Fleetwood grew as a deep-sea fishing port, and fish processing is still a major economic activity there. A ferry crosses the River Wyre to Knott End-on-Sea. A food supplier should state what it supplies, minimum orders and delivery areas; a café by the ferry may only need hours and a menu.
Poulton-le-FyldeA market-town shopper comparing local options. Poulton-le-Fylde is a market town on the Fylde with 18,115 residents at the 2021 census. An independent shop or trade there should list what it stocks or does, its opening hours and the nearby villages it genuinely serves.
Thornton-CleveleysA regular customer along the tram route. Cleveleys has stops on the tramway that has run since 1885 between Starr Gate and Fleetwood, and the FY5 district covers Thornton-Cleveleys and Anchorsholme. A local business there can name its nearest stop, parking it can confirm and a simple way to order, book or call.

Local context: Visit Blackpool, Illuminations (read 29 October 2026); FY postcode area (read 29 October 2026); Lytham St Annes (read 29 October 2026); Fleetwood (read 29 October 2026); Poulton-le-Fylde (read 29 October 2026); Blackpool Tramway (read 29 October 2026). The website recommendations above are our proposed approach. They are not reports of client work or results.

How do we handle seasonal, trade and business-to-business websites?

Seasonal visitor businesses: Visit Blackpool says the 2026 Illuminations season began on Friday 4 September and runs to Sunday 3 January 2027 (Visit Blackpool (read 29 October 2026)). If your trade peaks in that window, the website should make dates, the prices you set and booking easy to find in the busy weeks, and still be useful when the lights are off. We never invent offers or availability.

Trades and home services: say which FY districts you actually cover. FY1 to FY4 are Blackpool, FY5 is Thornton-Cleveleys, FY6 Poulton-le-Fylde, FY7 Fleetwood and FY8 Lytham St Annes (FY postcode area (read 29 October 2026)). A short form can ask for the address, the job, photos and a reply route. Our websites for trades explain that approach in more detail.

Event and conference suppliers: the Winter Gardens advertises conferences and exhibitions, galas and award ceremonies (Winter Gardens Blackpool (read 29 October 2026)). Caterers, printers, AV crews and transport firms that serve events should show what they supply, their lead times and a quote route a planner can use the same day.

Manufacturers and food producers: business buyers want what you make, the standards you meet, the lead times you can state and a named route for a quote. We only publish accreditations, client names and capacity figures you can back up.

How do we build your Blackpool website remotely?

Buzzozo serves Blackpool remotely. We do not have a Blackpool office or branch, and this page does not claim local clients, visits or results. Discovery happens by phone, WhatsApp and email. You know your customers; we turn that knowledge into a website you can review on your own phone.

  1. Agree the service area. Send the parts of the town, the Fylde coast towns and the FY postcodes you genuinely serve, with any travel limits. A Poulton trade does not need to claim Lytham just because both sit on the Fylde.
  2. Choose the main enquiry. Decide whether the next step is a phone call, a quote form, an appointment or an existing booking service. Confirm the inbox and number that should receive it.
  3. Approve the local copy. Check the draft’s place names, services, photos and opening hours. The business owner approves every local statement before launch; we do not invent evidence to fill a page.
  4. Review the working website. Use the free 14-day trial to check navigation and enquiry routes on a real website. No card is needed, and you can cancel any time.
  5. Keep it managed. We handle hosting, SSL and software upkeep. Send changes to seasonal hours, prices or photos to us; work beyond the plan’s agreed scope is quoted before it starts.

For example, a South Shore guest house could send visitors straight to the booking tool it already uses, with its dates for the Illuminations season. A Fleetwood food supplier might ask trade buyers for volumes and delivery postcodes before it quotes. These are planning examples, not named projects or promised outcomes.

Try your own website free for 14 days, no card needed. If you already have a website, we can discuss the enquiry routes you want to keep.

What does the fixed £149 a month include?

The Website plan is £149 a month, fixed, for the first 100 businesses, and the price is kept for life. It is monthly with no contract, so you can cancel any time. Our prices exclude VAT where applicable. Larger or more complex websites are quoted. The first 14 days are free, no card needed.

The table compares the plan with what premium providers typically charge when each service is bought separately. These figures are rounded from UK list prices we checked on 28 and 29 October 2026. They are a guide, not a quote, and providers change their prices.
