Web design Brentwood: websites for a borough with three high streets.

Web design Brentwood for shops, trades and firms in Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone: we write, design, build and host your website and keep it working for £149 a month. We work remotely from our own address in Ilford, on the same Elizabeth line, and have no office in Brentwood. Try a free 14-day website first, no card needed.

A business owner at a pavement cafe table reviews a website layout on a laptop, with brick shopfronts, a classical church and a commuter train behind.

Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone: three high streets, one business district.

Each description comes from the council, the BID or the place itself, read 29 October 2026. The final row covers the borough outside the three centres.

The three town centres of Brentwood borough and the countryside around them: what their own sources say, and what a website for a business there has to do
PlaceWhat the source saysWhat a website there has to do
Brentwood High StreetLighting Up Brentwood takes over the High Street on Saturday 21 November, from 12 to 6pm, with market stalls, food, drinks, gifts, funfair rides and a Santa Parade; the Christmas lights go on at 5pm, and the council is making the Coptfold Road multistorey car park free of charge all day (Brentwood Borough Council).Crowds on event days are people you can win back on an ordinary Tuesday. Your opening hours, what you sell and how to reach you have to be one search away when they look you up that evening.
ShenfieldShenfield station is on the Elizabeth line (TfL). Festive Shenfield returns on Sunday 6 December with market stalls, a Santa’s Grotto, and food, drink and festive fun from the wide range of businesses in Hutton Road (Brentwood Borough Council).Commuters pass you twice a day and search on the platform. Booking links, a menu or price list that loads on a phone, and hours that match the trains, decide whether they stop.
IngatestoneThe Ingatestone Festive Fair on Sunday 29 November brings 30 traditional market stalls selling food, gifts and handmade items, and a Christmas Toy Trail in business windows (Brentwood Borough Council). Ingatestone Hall, a Tudor house one mile from the village, has passed through fifteen generations of the Petre family and is open to the public from Easter to the end of September (Ingatestone Hall).Visitors to the village and the Hall plan the whole trip ahead. Say where you are in relation to them, when you open, and whether you take bookings or groups.
The countryside and the A12–M25 cornerThe council describes a borough surrounded by open countryside, with links to the M25 and A12 and fast rail links with London and East Anglia (Brentwood Borough Council). The Hall’s rooms and grounds are hired for receptions, dinners, seminars, concerts, corporate events, fairs and film work (Ingatestone Hall).Trades, venues and suppliers out of town are found by search, not by passing trade. Name the roads and villages you reach, show real jobs and events, and make a quote or a viewing easy to request.

All three centres sit inside Brentwood Connected, which the council says was set to be the first Business Improvement District in the UK to take in three high streets in one BID. Over 500 businesses across multiple sectors are in it, with £2m to spend over five years. At the ballot, 80% of votes cast by number of businesses and 88% by rateable value were in favour, and it came into effect on 1 October 2023; businesses in the area with a rateable value of £12,500 or above pay a levy based on that value (Brentwood Borough Council). The district is funded by town centre businesses to improve the experience of residents, visitors, employees and businesses, and its own site lists places to eat, drink, shop and enjoy across the three centres (Brentwood Connected).

In the chair of the Brentwood Business Partnership’s words, the festive events are funded by businesses, which makes them free to attend. The council is also putting in new wayfinding signs, finger posts, local area maps and public seating across all three town centres, designed with a local artist (Brentwood Borough Council). Better signs bring people to the street; a website is what they check before they cross the road. We are not part of the BID and name none of its members as clients.

The borough by the numbers: steady growth, and nearly all small firms.

Jobs and start-upsThe council describes a diverse economy providing almost 40,000 jobs, a thriving entrepreneurial culture and above average rates of business start-ups. Brentwood Borough Council

Nearly nine in ten Brentwood enterprises employ fewer than ten people. A population that grows slowly also changes slowly: more of your customers already know the town and compare you with names they have heard of for years. A website earns its place by being the clear, current answer when they search for what you do, so it is worth having one that is written properly and kept up to date.

What Brentwood businesses do: and the one job each website must do well.

How Buzzozo works with businesses in Brentwood borough from its Ilford address
Our addressWe work from 1022 Eastern Avenue, Ilford (Buzzozo). Shenfield station is on the Elizabeth line, and TfL’s station page lists Brentwood, Romford and Ilford among the stations it serves (TfL). We have no office, branch or staff in Brentwood; we work by phone, WhatsApp, email and video call, and can meet in person on request.
A fifteen-minute callYou tell us what you sell, who buys it and which enquiries you want more of. We take the notes, so you need nothing prepared.
Your real patchBrentwood town, Shenfield, Ingatestone, the villages, or the A12 and M25 corridors: we agree where you actually work and the site says exactly that, no further.
Your material, not stockPhotos of your premises, team or finished jobs, the accreditations you hold and any reviews you already have. Where you have nothing yet we leave the space out rather than fill it with borrowed pictures or made-up praise.
Live, then looked afterYou see the finished site within the free 14 days. When it is live we host it, back it up, keep it secure and make small changes when you ask; larger work is priced before it starts.

We would sooner tell you we are in Ilford than borrow a Brentwood address to look local. You will not find Brentwood testimonials on this page, because we will not make any up. The proof we offer is your own website, finished and working before you pay a penny.

Buying a website in pieces: what a Brentwood business would pay for each.

Suppose you hired each part yourself: a designer to build the site, a developer for later edits, then hosting, a security service, a certificate and a chat tool. The middle column gives the usual price of each, as our plans page lists it from UK price guides and the upper end of published ranges for premium services, read on 29 October 2026. Hosting, the certificate and chat are billed in US dollars; /plans/ converts them to pounds and does not count them in the first-year total. Outside prices move, so check them before relying on them; our prices exclude VAT where applicable.

Brentwood web design: questions owners ask before they start.

What does a website cost for a business in Brentwood?

The Website plan is £149 a month, and you pay nothing upfront. That is a founding price for the first 100 businesses, and it stays at £149 for as long as you keep the plan. After those places go, new sign-ups pay from £299 a month; Website + CRM starts at £599 a month. The first 14 days are free and we take no card to begin. A much larger or unusual build is quoted on its own. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.

Is there a Buzzozo office in Brentwood?

No. We work from our own address in Ilford and look after Brentwood, Shenfield and Ingatestone businesses remotely, by phone, WhatsApp, email and video call. There is no Brentwood office, branch or member of staff. Ilford sits on the same Elizabeth line as Shenfield and Brentwood, so if you would like to meet in person we can arrange it on request; you never need a meeting to get your free website.

My shop is inside the Brentwood Connected area. How should the website work with the high street events?

Give the site a short news or events panel you can change from your phone. Before Lighting Up Brentwood, Festive Shenfield or the Ingatestone Festive Fair, put up your opening hours for the day, what you will have on, and an offer if you run one. People who see you on the day can then find you again afterwards. We are not part of the BID and claim no link with it; this is simply what a shop website should do in a town that runs events like these.

I started trading in the last couple of years. Does a website fit alongside Smart Start Brentwood?

Smart Start Brentwood offers free advice to businesses up to three years old, and the council says one-to-one help is still available. We are not part of that programme. What we add is the website itself: written, designed and live within the free 14 days, so the advice you get has somewhere to point customers. Nothing is charged until day 15, and only if you keep it.

Can one website cover Shenfield, Ingatestone and the villages as well as Brentwood?

Yes, provided the cover is real. We ask where you actually take work: Brentwood town, Shenfield, Ingatestone, Hutton, Warley, Pilgrims Hatch or further out along the A12. The site then names those places with true detail about the jobs you do there. We will not build near-identical pages for every village; search engines treat those as doorway pages, and customers notice.

What happens when the 14 free days end?

It is your choice. Keep the site and it stays online on the Website plan at £149 a month from day 15. Say no and we take it down; there is nothing to pay and nothing to cancel, because no card was taken at the start.

Tell us about your Brentwood business. We'll build the site.
