How we worked it out: we read published UK web design and website maintenance price guides, and the price pages of premium hosting, certificate, chat and search providers, on 29 October 2026, and took the top of each typical range. Hosting, SSL and chat are priced in US dollars; we show them in pounds at the European Central Bank rate of 28 October 2026 and leave them out of the first-year total, which counts design plus 12 months of care. The guides do not say whether their figures include VAT, so we show them as published. Our prices exclude VAT where applicable. Market prices change, so check before you buy.
