Web design Gloucester: websites for the city on the Severn.

Web design Gloucester, shaped around how people across the city pick who to call: we design, write, host and manage your website for a fixed £149 a month. What does a Gloucester customer check before they get in touch?

Gloucester is the county town of Gloucestershire. It lies on the River Severn, between the Cotswolds to the east and the Forest of Dean to the west, and has around 132,000 people including its suburbs (Gloucester (read 30 October 2026)). The city is growing faster than most: the census counted around 121,700 people in 2011 and 132,500 in 2021, a rise of 8.9% against 6.6% for England (ONS, Census 2021 population change (read 30 October 2026)).

Most of the firms answering that demand are small. UK Business Counts lists 3,805 enterprises in Gloucester for 2026, and 3,250 of them employ fewer than ten people (Nomis, UK Business Counts (read 30 October 2026)). A sole trader in Tuffley and a family restaurant at the Docks are judged on the same small screen. A website for this city has to answer three plain questions quickly: what you do, whether you cover the customer’s part of Gloucester, and how they reach you today. For our wider service, see web design for small businesses.

From the Gate Streets to Quedgeley: what is your customer deciding?

Seven parts of Gloucester, seven customer decisions
The Gate Streets and the city centreA shopper or visitor deciding where to go next. Northgate, Southgate, Eastgate and Westgate Streets still follow their Roman lines, and the Old Judges House at 26 Westgate Street is the largest surviving medieval timber-framed building in England. A shop, café or salon on these streets should show what it sells, its opening hours and which gate street its door is on.
Gloucester Docks and the QuaysA day-out planner choosing a table or an activity. Gloucester is Britain’s most inland port, and its docks keep fourteen listed Victorian warehouses. The Tall Ships Festival has been held at the Docks every year since 2007, and Gloucester Quays opened beside them in 2009. Venues and restaurants here should publish event-weekend hours and booking details early, not on the day.
Barton and TredworthA customer looking for a specialist shop or a language they speak. A variety of communities live in Barton and Tredworth, and in 2023 it was reported that 70 languages were spoken there. If customers ask for products by name, a website that lists them and says which languages are spoken in store spares them a wasted journey along Barton Street.
Kingsholm and the north of the cityA match-day visitor or a regular looking for somewhere close by. Gloucester Rugby has played its home matches at Kingsholm Stadium since 1891, and the ground holds 16,115. Pubs, takeaways and parking businesses nearby should show match-day hours and whether to book, so a supporter can plan before the gates open.
Barnwood and the business parksA company buyer comparing suppliers. Lloyds Banking Group and TSB each have an office in Barnwood, and Gloucester Business Park sits on the outskirts of the city. Caterers, cleaners, IT support and print firms selling to offices should list services, response times and an account or quote route, with a contact name a buyer can trust.
Longlevens and the residential suburbsA household hiring help at home. Longlevens is mainly residential, home to Sir Thomas Rich’s School, churches and various shops; Tuffley and Matson sit near Robinswood Hill. Cleaners, tutors, decorators and gardeners should name the streets and suburbs they cover, link to reviews customers can check, and say how quickly they reply.
Quedgeley, Kingsway and HempstedA trade buyer or a new resident choosing for the first time. Quedgeley is the only town inside the city’s borders and has its own town council. Kingsway Village was built on the former RAF Quedgeley site, which closed in 1995, and commercial and industrial buildings went up along the Bristol Road in the 1950s and 1960s. Llanthony Secunda Priory stands in the parish of Hempsted. Trades and suppliers here should state delivery areas, lead times and how a newcomer books.

Local context: Gloucester (read 30 October 2026); Gloucester Docks (read 30 October 2026); Gloucester Quays (read 30 October 2026); Barton and Tredworth (read 30 October 2026); Gloucester Rugby (read 30 October 2026); Kingsholm Stadium (read 30 October 2026); Longlevens (read 30 October 2026); Tuffley (read 30 October 2026); Matson (read 30 October 2026); Quedgeley (read 30 October 2026); Llanthony Secunda Priory (read 30 October 2026). The website recommendations above are our proposed approach. They are not reports of client work or results.

How do we plan for visitors, office buyers, engineers and commuters?

Visitors and the cathedral: Gloucester Cathedral’s 14th-century rebuilding of the choir and cloisters gave it the earliest surviving example of structural fan vaulting, and the cathedral has often been used as a filming location, including as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films (Gloucester Cathedral (read 30 October 2026)). Cafés, guides, guest houses and gift shops that serve those visitors should put opening times, prices and the walk from the cathedral at the top of the page.

Insurance, banking and office buyers: the large insurer Ecclesiastical Insurance is based in the city (Gloucester (read 30 October 2026)), and the banking offices in Barnwood bring office staff to the east side. A supplier selling to those teams needs a clear services page, a named contact and a quote form that asks for the right details first time.

Engineering and the supply chain: landing gear and propeller plants stand on the outskirts of the city (Gloucester (read 30 October 2026)). Machine shops, fabricators and specialist trades that sell into that work should list their capabilities, certifications they actually hold and the size of job they take on, so a buyer can shortlist them without a call.

Commuters and the wider county: Great Western Railway runs from Gloucester to London Paddington, Swindon, Bristol Temple Meads, Cheltenham and Worcester (Gloucester (read 30 October 2026)), and Cheltenham sits directly north-east of the city (Cheltenham (read 30 October 2026)). Many firms here work both towns: if you cover Cheltenham too, say so plainly, and see our web design Cheltenham page for how we plan for customers there. Our websites for trades cover the trade approach.

How do we serve Gloucester from Ilford?

Our company address is 1022 Eastern Avenue, Ilford IG2 7SE, in east London, and the whole service runs from there. We do not have a Gloucester office or branch, and this page names no Gloucester client, visit or result. You reach us by phone, WhatsApp or email; each draft comes to you as a link, so you judge it on the same phone your customers will use. A meeting is rarely needed, and if you would like one face to face, ask and we will say honestly what is possible.

  1. Mark your area. Tell us which suburbs, villages and postcodes you cover, from the city centre out to Quedgeley and Hempsted, and where you stop. A Longlevens plumber has no need to claim the whole county to look bigger.
  2. Pick the one action that matters. A phone call, a quote form, a table booking, or the booking tool you already pay for. Tell us which inbox and which phone each enquiry lands on.
  3. Sign off what the page says about you. You, as the business owner, approve every place name, service, photo, opening time and language before it goes live. Where we lack a review or a figure, the gap stays empty; we never make one up.
  4. Try it before you pay. For the first 14 days the website is free: a working site on your own phone and laptop, with no card taken and nothing to cancel if it is not for you.
  5. Keep it current. Buzzozo cloud hosting, the SSL certificate and software upkeep are ours to run. Message us a new price list, menu, or match-day and festival hours and we make the change; work outside the plan’s agreed scope gets a quote before anything starts.

For instance, a Barton Street grocer might put its product list, opening hours and spoken languages first. A Quedgeley fabricator might ask for a drawing, the material and the quantity in its quote form. These are planning examples, not named projects or promised outcomes.

Try your own website free for 14 days, no card needed. Already have a website? Tell us which enquiry routes it uses today and we will keep them working.

What does the fixed £149 a month include?

The Website plan is £149 a month, fixed, for the first 100 businesses, and the price is kept for life. It is monthly with no contract, so you can cancel any time. Our prices exclude VAT where applicable. Larger or more complex websites are quoted. The first 14 days are free, no card needed.

The table compares the plan with what premium providers typically charge when each service is bought separately. These figures are rounded from UK list prices we checked on 28 and 29 October 2026. They are a guide, not a quote, and providers change their prices.

Your Gloucester web design questions

Do you have a web design office in Gloucester?

No. Buzzozo Ltd is based at 1022 Eastern Avenue, Ilford IG2 7SE and works with Gloucester businesses remotely, by phone, WhatsApp and email. We do not claim a Gloucester office, branch, local client or visit on this page.

Which parts of Gloucester do you cover?

All of it, remotely: the city centre and Gate Streets, the Docks and Quays, Barton and Tredworth, Kingsholm, Barnwood, Longlevens, Tuffley, Quedgeley and Hempsted. Your own website names only the places your business actually serves.

What does the Website plan cost?

£149 a month, fixed, for the first 100 businesses, and that price is kept for life. Prices exclude VAT where applicable. Larger or more complex websites are quoted, and the plans page lists the full scope.

I work in Cheltenham as well. Can one website cover both?

Yes. If you genuinely serve both, your website can say so and give each place its own page with the services and hours that apply there. We only list places you approve, and our web design Cheltenham page covers how we plan for customers there.

Can we meet in person?

Usually there is no need: we work by phone, WhatsApp and email, and drafts arrive for you to check on your own phone. If you would prefer to meet, ask, and we will tell you honestly what we can arrange from Ilford.

How does the free 14-day trial work?

We build a real website on our hosting for you to try. The first 14 days are free and no card is needed. Keep it and it stays live on your chosen plan; stop and it comes down, with nothing to pay. There is no contract, so you can cancel any time.
