Who looks for a Kingston business online, and what should they find first?

Kingston upon Thames is a town in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, in south-west London, about 10 miles south-west of Charing Cross. It is an ancient market town where some Saxon kings were crowned, and it was the earliest royal borough (Kingston upon Thames (read 30 October 2026)). Today the London Plan names it a metropolitan centre, and it is one of the biggest retail centres in the UK, with around 18 million visitors a year. The KT1 and KT2 postcodes make up the Kingston post town.

Kingston also faces Surrey. The town was historically in the county of Surrey, joined Greater London in 1965, and was the seat of Surrey County Council from 1893 to 2020 (Kingston upon Thames (read 30 October 2026)). County Hall, the council’s headquarters for those years, is a Grade II listed building (County Hall, Kingston upon Thames (read 30 October 2026)). Buses from Kingston run across Greater London and Surrey, so many of your customers will live on either side of the old county line. If you trade across the county too, see web design in Surrey. A Kingston website should make three things clear in seconds: what you do, which streets and towns you reach, and how to get in touch today.

From the Market Place to Kingston Hill: what is your customer deciding?

Seven parts of Kingston and what each customer is deciding
The town centre and the Market PlaceA shopper choosing where to go before setting out. The royal charter of 1208 granted Kingston the right to hold markets, and the ancient market is still held daily in the Market Place. Central Kingston is busy, mostly pedestrian and mainly retail. Stallholders, shops and cafés should put opening days, the stall or street location and a menu or shop link on the first screen.
The riverside and Kingston BridgeA visitor planning a riverside meal or walk. Until Putney Bridge opened in 1729, Kingston Bridge was the only crossing of the river between London Bridge and Staines Bridge. It became a Grade II* listed structure in 1951. Across the bridge, a tree-lined bank faces Hampton Court Park, and the Kingston Regatta is held just above the bridge in early July. Riverside restaurants and pubs should publish table booking, opening hours and event-weekend notices.
SurbitonA commuter searching between trains. Surbiton was first developed in the 1840s as Kingston-upon-Railway, and with 45,132 people in 2016 it holds about a quarter of the borough’s population. Its station was rebuilt in 1937 and is a Grade II listed building, and trains can reach London Waterloo in as little as 16 minutes. Salons, gyms and clinics should show early and late hours and let customers book from a phone.
New MaldenA diner or shopper looking for a particular food or service. The borough has the largest expatriate community of South Koreans in Europe, centred on New Malden, and the busy A3 trunk road runs through part of the area. Restaurants and grocers should show a menu, opening hours and parking or bus notes, in Korean and English if that is how their customers search.
Tolworth and BerrylandsAn office worker or resident comparing nearby services. The main shopping centre is on Tolworth Broadway, west of the A3, and Tolworth Tower, an office block, opened in 1963. Berrylands station is 24 minutes from London Waterloo by train. Trades, cleaners and lunchtime businesses should name the roads they cover and give a quote or order form that takes a minute.
Chessington and Old MaldenA family comparing trades, tutors and days out. Chessington, in the KT9 postcode district, had its grounds turned into a zoo in 1931, and the Bonesgate Stream rises in Chessington Wood. At the heart of Old Malden is Plough Green, a traditional village green beside a 15th-century public house. Builders, gardeners and childcare providers should list the streets they reach and the jobs they take on.
Norbiton and Kingston HillA patient, student or parent finding a service close by. Norbiton’s landmarks include Kingston Hospital and Kingsmeadow football stadium. Kingston University’s Business School moved to a new building on its Kingston Hill campus in 2012, and Richmond Park, the largest of London’s Royal Parks, is close by. Clinics, tutors and landlords should state availability, prices and how to arrange a first visit.

Local context: Kingston upon Thames (read 30 October 2026); Kingston Bridge (read 30 October 2026); Surbiton (read 30 October 2026); Surbiton station (read 30 October 2026); New Malden (read 30 October 2026); Tolworth (read 30 October 2026); Berrylands (read 30 October 2026); Chessington (read 30 October 2026); Old Malden (read 30 October 2026); Norbiton (read 30 October 2026); Kingston University (read 30 October 2026); Richmond Park (read 30 October 2026). The website advice in this table is our proposed approach, not a report of client work or results.

How do we plan for commuters, students, shoppers and the river?

Commuters: Surbiton is about 16 minutes from Waterloo at best (Surbiton (read 30 October 2026)) and Berrylands is 24 minutes (Berrylands (read 30 October 2026)). Kingston itself has two bus stations, Cromwell Road and Fairfield, with routes across Greater London and Surrey and direct links to Heathrow Airport (Kingston upon Thames (read 30 October 2026)). Many customers look you up on the move, so the page has to work on a phone: a clear price, real photographs and a short form.

Students and staff: Kingston University has around 17,000 students on four campuses in Kingston and Roehampton. It began as Kingston Technical Institute in 1899, its Town House building won the RIBA Stirling Prize in October 2021, and its Knights Park campus houses students from Kingston School of Art (Kingston University (read 30 October 2026)). The university’s growth made Kingston a university town (Kingston upon Thames (read 30 October 2026)). Landlords, tutors, print shops and cafés should plan their pages around term dates, student prices and late opening.

Shoppers and theatre-goers: the town centre draws people from well beyond the borough. The Rose Theatre opened on 16 January 2008 and seats about 900, and one of Kingston’s best-known sights is Out of Order, a sculpture of twelve disused red telephone boxes (Kingston upon Thames (read 30 October 2026)). Restaurants and shops near these spots should show pre-show times, how to book and the walk from the nearest bus stop.

The river: the Thames Path crosses the river at Kingston Bridge (Kingston Bridge (read 30 October 2026)), and downstream a walk runs through Canbury Gardens towards Teddington Lock (Kingston upon Thames (read 30 October 2026)). Rowing, coaching and hire businesses should publish session times, seasonal hours and what to bring. Our websites for trades follow the same plain approach.

How do we serve Kingston from Ilford?

Buzzozo Ltd works from 1022 Eastern Avenue, Ilford IG2 7SE, in east London, which is the address in our company details. We do not have a Kingston office or branch, and this page does not claim local clients or results. Kingston is on the other side of London from Ilford, so the work runs by phone, WhatsApp and email, and each draft arrives as a link you open on your own phone or laptop. A meeting in person can be arranged on request.

  1. Tell us where your customers are. The town centre, Surbiton, New Malden, Tolworth, Chessington, Norbiton or towns over the Surrey border: list the places and postcodes you reach, and we write them the way your customers say them.
  2. Choose what a visitor should do. Ring you, ask for a quote, book a table or a class, or use the booking tool you already have. Tell us which phone and inbox each enquiry goes to.
  3. Approve every local fact. The business owner approves place names, services, photographs, opening hours and prices before launch. We never make up reviews, results or proof to fill a space.
  4. Use the real website before you pay. The free 14-day trial is a working website on your own phone and laptop. No card is needed, and you can cancel any time.
  5. Send changes as they happen. Buzzozo cloud hosting, SSL and software upkeep are ours to run. Send new prices, menus or holiday hours and we make the update; work outside the plan’s agreed scope is quoted first.

For example, a café on the riverside might lead with opening hours and a booking button, while an electrician in Tolworth might put the roads covered and a quote form first. These are planning examples, not named projects or promised results.

What is in the fixed £149 a month?

The Website plan is £149 a month, fixed, for the first 100 businesses, and the price is kept for life. It is paid monthly with no contract, and you can cancel any time. Prices exclude VAT where applicable; larger or more complex websites are quoted. The first 14 days are free, no card needed.

The table puts each part of the plan beside what premium providers typically charge for it on its own. The figures are rounded from UK list prices we checked on 28 and 29 October 2026. They are a guide, not a quote, and providers change their prices.

Your Kingston web design questions

Do you have a web design office in Kingston?

No. Buzzozo Ltd is based at 1022 Eastern Avenue, Ilford IG2 7SE, in east London, and works with Kingston businesses remotely by phone, WhatsApp and email. This page claims no Kingston office, branch or local client.

Do you cover Surbiton, New Malden, Tolworth and Chessington?

Yes, and the town centre, Norbiton, Kingston Hill, Berrylands and Old Malden too, as well as towns over the Surrey border. Borough lines make no difference to how we work. Your website names only the places your business really serves.

What does the Website plan cost?

£149 a month, fixed, for the first 100 businesses, and the price is kept for life. Prices exclude VAT where applicable. Larger or more complex websites are quoted, and the plans page sets out the full scope.

Can we meet in person?

Yes, a meeting in person can be arranged on request. Most projects do not need one: we work by phone, WhatsApp and email, and every draft comes to you as a link to check on your own phone.

Is Kingston in London or Surrey?

You will hear both. Kingston was historically in Surrey and was the seat of Surrey County Council from 1893 to 2020, but it has been part of Greater London since 1965. Your website should use the words customers search with, such as Kingston, Surbiton or KT1, rather than a county label.

How does the free 14-day trial work?

We build a real website on our hosting for you to use. The first 14 days are free and no card is needed. If you keep it, it stays live on your chosen plan; if you stop, it comes down and there is nothing to pay. There is no contract, so you can cancel any time.
