What does a startup website have to do first?

How we worked it out: we read published UK web design and website maintenance price guides, and the price pages of premium hosting, certificate, chat and search providers, on 29 October 2026, and took the top of each typical range. Hosting, SSL and chat are priced in US dollars; we show them in pounds at the European Central Bank rate of 28 October 2026 and leave them out of the first-year total, which counts design plus 12 months of care. The guides do not say whether their figures include VAT, so we show them as published. Our prices exclude VAT where applicable. Market prices change, so check before you buy.

Are SEO campaigns and ads included?
No. On-page SEO and an AI-search-ready build are included. SEO and local SEO campaigns, AI search campaigns, Google and Meta ads, social media marketing and email marketing are priced per job, and we quote before any work starts.
What if my startup changes direction?
Website includes a set number of small changes; anything beyond the allowance is quoted before work starts. A bigger rebuild is quoted first, so you always know the price before we begin.
Is the domain in my name?
Yes. Your domain is registered to you, not to us, so your web address stays yours.
What must a limited company show on its website?
GOV.UK says a limited company's website must show the company's registered number, its registered office address and where it is registered. We build those details into the footer. We build websites; we do not give legal advice.
Will a new website get my startup to the top of Google?
We do not promise rankings. We set up the titles, structure and schema search engines read, but where a new site appears depends on your market, your competitors and time.
